Kopernio can export RIS files from the PDF viewer with one click. RIS files are compatible with most reference managers like Zotero, Mendeley and EndNote.
EndNote X9.2 users can seamlessly import the full-text article along with the reference to their libraries. The PDF will be saved in the Library's .Data folder, and automatically attached to the citation record.
*Upgrade to EndNote X9.2 is freely available to users of EndNote X9.
If you use an older version of EndNote, you can still configure your browser to open all RIS files with your reference manager. You can set it up in just a few steps. You will find instructions for both Google Chrome and Firefox.
1. Click on the [Export Reference] button when you are in the Kopernio PDF viewer.
2. Click the arrow icon on the download tile (or right-click the tile), select [Open With] and choose [Other].
3.A) Select your reference manager from the list of recommended applications and click [Open].
(You might want to tick the 'Always open with' box.)
3.B) In Firefox, go to your browser preferences page, and select EndNote as the default application to open all RIS files.
